Biography
Bishop Levy H. Knox is the founding Apostle/Overseer of Living Word Christian Center. What began with a prophetic word from God has now expanded into a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, international ministry. This ministry began in 1985 with an unchanging vision to communicate and demonstrate the gospel of the Kingdom in every sphere of life.
Bishop Knox is an anointed statesman, teacher and preacher in the Body of Christ. He is called to proclaim the Lordship of Christ and His Kingdom throughout the earth.
In the fall of 1992, Bishop Knox became the founder and president of Living Word Christian Center Kingdom Academy, a Christian school that trains and educates with academic and biblical excellence while imparting the concepts and principles of the Kingdom of God.
In 1996, Bishop Knox founded the KNCI (Kingdom Network of Churches International), an extension ministry of Living Word Christian Center. KNCI was birthed and established for the purpose of networking churches and ministries who are joined in a spiritual bond of covenant relationship with LWCC to co-labor together with a vision to build Christ’s Church and extend God’s Kingdom – transforming communities, cities, and disciple nations with the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Bishop Knox currently provides apostolic oversight for pastors and congregations throughout the United States.
In 2005, the Lord placed a fresh stirring in the heart of Bishop Knox to see the unity among the churches of Mobile and surrounding areas in a corporate expression of Christ. As a result, “Opportunity for Unity Ministry Network” (OFU) was birthed. OFU invites senior pastors in the Mobile Bay area, who have a burden for unity to fellowship, pray, build solid relationships and demonstrate Christ’s Church to the world. It is to see churches work together for the good of the entire city, transcending denominational, racial, and cultural barriers. “Rich in diversity, yet unified under the banner of Christ.”
Bishop Knox presently serves on the College of Bishops in the International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC) under the covering of the Presiding Archbishop Kirby Clements of Decatur, GA. This network now represents over 4.2 million people and growing.
In a collaborative assignment, Bishop Knox and his wife Pastor Delia Knox, anointed psalmist and teacher, has a ministry of in depth revelatory teaching and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, ministering hope, healing and a passion for His Presence. Bishop Knox’s degrees include a Doctorate of Ministry, Master and Bachelor degrees in Biblical Studies, and an A.S. in Business Administration.

Center, where he has been pastoring for 24 years. Pastor Bruce D. Hooks has
been called and chosen by God to be a Kingdom Voice in the city of Bay
Minette and surrounding areas. His Spiritual Father & Covering is Bishop
Levy Knox, Pastor of Living Word Christian Center of Mobile, AL.
He serves as one of the Chaplains of Drug Court in the city of Bay
Minette. He is a member of the Mayor’s Prayer Team. He is the Founder of
Kingdom Connection Fellowship where local churches come together to build
relationship in the body of Christ. He is a member of the Board of Directors
of the local Teen Challenge in Bay Minette, AL.
His heart is to see God’s people established in the Truth, walking
in their full potential and discovering their God-given Destiny. His vision
is to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom to all humanity, to help bring the
reality of the Kingdom on earth through Demonstration and Kingdom living.
His unique ministry of restoration brings hope and healing to the body of
Christ. His example of love, faithfulness, and commitment to his wife Edna
for 30 years brings hope to marriages today.

Dr. Angela Gooden is a powerful yet graceful force in the Kingdom of God. Known for her loving; discerning, caring demeanor; passion for people and intense love for family, God’s authority, order, the Kingdom mandate; she walks in demonstration of the Proverbs 31 woman; “strength, honor are her clothing, as a woman who fears, reverences the Lord, she is praised”.
Dr. Angela Gooden is the Pastor of Center Peace Ministries, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Dr. Charles and Frances Gooden, St. Louis, Missouri. Angela accepted Christ at an early age and served diligently in all church, outreach activities. She received her formal education at Villa Duchesne, Academy of the Sacred Heart, St. Louis, MO.; attended Wheaton College, Norton MA., obtaining Dual Degrees in Political Science, Sociology; attended Harvard, Northeastern Universities in Boston, Massachusetts for summer, graduate studies in sociology, political science, philosophy and attended, graduated from Southern University Law School, Baton Rouge, LA. obtaining a Juris Doctorate degree. Dr. Gooden also completed the necessary requirements, practicum, training as Fellow for the Advisory Board, American College of Health Care Professionals, Washington DC.
Dr. Gooden obtained her ministry education, training from Ever Increasing Word Training Institute, Spirit and Truth Institute, The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology of Virginia Union University earning certificate, bachelor, master and doctoral degrees in Ministry, Bible and Theology.
Over the last twenty years, Dr. Gooden has served, and currently serves in both private, state public service, legal, health, education fields. She leads a congregation of faithful disciples of Christ; is the founder, chancellor of CPM Bible College and Kadash Ministries, Baton Rouge, LA.
For the last 12 years, she has hosted a radio ministry program Monday-Friday, “The Totally Committed to Peace Radio Ministry Broadcast” and serves as talk show host, commentator for local, radio, TV shows along with writing Kingdom Word Empowerment articles for several local print media outlets.
Called to ministry over 10 years ago, Pastor Gooden began walking in her calling as a powerful intercessor, preacher and teacher. With a unique heart, anointing for women, Pastor Gooden forged an in home Bible Study and dedicated early ministry to leading women to wholeness through prayer, personal development, and spiritual direction. God enlarged the territory and extended Dr. Gooden’s sphere to education, leadership, discipleship, mentoring, personal development, Bible education for men, women, children through varied teaching and training programs.
With a strong commitment to advancing causes that benefit, uplift women facing life’s health challenges, Kadash Ministries provides information, prevention education to men, women diagnosed with breast cancer. She is an avid supporter of the Baton Rouge Area Cancer Services Organization; the American Cancer Foundation and other support groups of interest.
Pastor Gooden, simply stated, has a heart for people “Jen-Li” (loving God and loving God’s people) and truly stands on the 1 Corinthians 13 love equation. Her ministry mission is souls saved through the Word of God; to encourage people to see, fulfill God’s purpose, plan for their lives; to encourage His sons, daughters to fulfill the destiny God has called them to and to build, educate, train, uplift, encourage, disciples who advance the Kingdom of God.
