The Kingdom…Our Mission From God

While many Christians are beginning to walk in the revelation of the Kingdom of God, others remain unfamiliar with its operation, expression, and function in the life of the believer. By definition, the word “Kingdom” refers to “the reign, realm and rule of God over all His creation, including the universe and all living being.”

God as Creator formed the heavens and the earth, and God, as King, has full power and authority to rule over it. In like manner, He has delegated that same power and authority to His people, the Church, and He has commissioned us to govern the earth on His behalf. Therefore, God’s Kingdom must be embraced, expressed, and then released by believers into the region in which they are called.

Our mission is one in which the Church engages, influences and governs the culture around it. We have come to the understanding that the Kingdom Covenant Community is a place where the King is the center. As His citizens interact with Him, the King of kings, they go out and demonstrate His Kingdom in their sphere of culture. We have taught the Body of Christ that in every arena of culture – our homes, our schools, our businesses, civil government, the medical field, science, media and the entertainment industry – the Church has the power, the authority, and the right to change and influence it for the glory of God!

We embrace the Lord’s model prayer as our declaration to the world, “Let your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Simply stated, this means that everything on earth must line up with the culture of heaven. In heaven there is no sickness, no disease, no poverty, and no oppression; therefore, on earth there should be none as well. In heaven the King of kings and the Lord of lords is Sovereign and Supreme over all; therefore, on earth He should be Sovereign and Supreme as well. Every nation, every tribe and every tongue should be bowing down and proclaiming that He is Lord. Every man, every woman, and every child should acknowledge and accept His Lordship over all. Not one person should perish, but all should have eternal life, and all should learn how to walk in eternal life on earth as it is in heaven.

My sincerest desire is that all would embrace the Kingdom of God and learn to function in it as a part of their calling and destiny as kings and priests upon the earth. We are on a mission from God. You and I were sent to this earth to rule and reign on Christ’s behalf as ambassadors of the Kingdom, going out into the world to spread the Word and model the truths of God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Let your Kingdom come Lord, through our lives!

2016: The Year of the Extraordinary!

Dear KNCI Family!

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I, along with Pastor Delia, express our love to our wonderful Living Word Christian Center family and say to each of you Happy New Year! 2016: “The Year Of The Extraordinary.” Something very significant is upon us. Something wonderful is on the verge of happening! Without question, we at LWCC have embarked upon a new era of extraordinary happenings!

Although we have celebrated 30 years of incredible, remarkable, and exciting history, our Kingdom Covenant Community and leadership, both young and old, continue to embrace our rich heritage. We continue to look to God as our Source for His constant flow of Divine Grace and Extraordinary Favor manifesting in our lives unlike ever before. With our ministry’s expanding Kingdom influence and the launching of new leadership and ministries, we are poised for the next level of modeling a Kingdom Culture of The Word, Worship, Honor, Excellence, Leadership and Multigenerational & Multidimensional Ministry.

When people ask what sets us apart as a church, our answer is summed up in one word: “Kingdom.” Kingdom for us is more than a Christian buzz-word. It is what defines us. It is the heartbeat of our Kingdom Covenant Community. Our vision is to effectively communicate and demonstrate the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life. The Kingdom of God is not just a message; it is an extraordinary lifestyle and a new way of living. Jesus says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matt 6:33.)

We have been gifted with insight into God’s Kingdom. We have been inspired by revelation of God’s Kingdom, power, purpose, and destiny that lie in each and every one of us. We don’t want to forsake that great wisdom. We want to show it, shine it, and live it so that we can do something extraordinary on planet earth. Extraordinary is defined as remarkable, exceptional, amazing, astonishing, astounding, incredible, phenomenal, very unusual, special, unexpected, going beyond what is usual and ordinary.” So make this declaration with me: “In this new year, 2016, I give myself permission to do something extraordinary on planet earth. For it is my destiny.”

There is zero doubt that by the grace of God we are creating a Kingdom Culture through a Kingdom Covenant Community, being a positive force of good in a decaying culture and chaotic world. I’m counting on you to keep creating it with me, so we inspire all those who walk on our paths. I believe we all have a call of greatness upon our lives to make our community, city, and world better for all people. Period. No excuses. No escapes. No postponements. I also believe you have sleeping potential that you never unleashed. I believe that your fears can be fuel for greater success, and that your past has no power over your future. I believe your life can rise to be extraordinary. Today is a blessing overflowing with opportunities, to take a risk we’ve never taken. To think the visions we’ve never envisioned. To give love we’ve never given. And to make a stand for an extraordinary way of living!

2016 is “The Year Of The Extraordinary.” It is a brilliant time to make our ascent from where we are now to the undefeatable mindset, unbeatable confidence, unbreakable covenant, and the Kingdom life that, deep in my heart, I know you were meant to live. I, with a humble and wide open heart, thank you for following, sharing, living and modeling my teachings from the Word of God, in communicating and demonstrating the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life. Together we’re doing our part to grow spiritually, inspire productivity & creativity, push audacity, and radiate Christ’s life on planet earth. And trust me, I love you for it! It’s truly my privilege to be your Bishop and watch you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our vision is clear. The task is huge. I believe we have been given the ability at LWCC to transform our world. As we prepare for 2016, I truly look forward to our future together as we experience unusual manifestations of extraordinary miracles and supernatural increase & multiplication. Whatever we have experienced up until now in our lives and in the work of the Kingdom that God has called us to, we will go beyond and move extraordinarily! “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Eph 3:20.)

You are loved, valued, and prayed for constantly! BE EXTRAORDINARY!
